MAIN FUNCTIONS
The Quality Assurance/Control Coordinator advises and informs Subproject Manager on Quality Management issues, status and metrics.
Reporting to the Project Quality Manager (PQM) while ensuring establishment and proper implementation of adequate control processes within the subproject Project Team (PT), as stipulated in the Project Plan and the Project Quality Plan.
Monitoring and auditing implementation of Project Team Construction Surveillance Programs and Contractors plans and procedures.
Note: Quality Assurance/Control Coordinator may take on the role of Site Quality Coordinator when moving from the engineering office to the site.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
•Bachelor or Associate degree in Engineering or related field is preferred.
•Formal technical, quality assurance and auditor/assessor training is preferred.
•Minimum of 10 years experience in Engineering, Construction, Commissioning or Startup activities of various facilities in the Oil and Gas Industry.
•Minimum 5 years of experience associated with Quality Management, and coordination of quality activities within Engineering, Construction, Commissioning and Start-up projects of various facilities in the Oil and Gas Industry.
•Worldwide experience with contractors, in particular those involved in the construction of offshore and onshore production facilities.
•Experience with facilitating efforts to resolve interface issues and coordinate multiparty QA objectives
•High level of construction knowledge, skill and experience
•Communication, strategy/planning skills Computer proficiency with MicroSoft applications
