Oil and Gas Services Company Recruiting at Warri, PHC and Lagos

A Nigerian Oil and Gas Services Company is looking to fill some vacancies on some upcoming construction and installation projects. We are looking for technically proficient, highly motivated and adaptable individuals, who can work within a team structure and deliver results set by the Management and project team



Position: Office Administration Manager (USG003)

Region/Location: Warri, Port Harcourt and Lagos

Duties:
Oversee the operations and internal controls of the company.
Provide administrative support for department Heads and staff.
Monitor and conduct monthly reconciliation of staff expenditure. Set spending limits and ensure adherence.
Identify training needs for support teams.

Knowledge, Skills & experience
University Degree with a minimum of seven (7) years experience in a similar role in the oil and industry.
Advanced knowledge of industry’s administration practices and standards.

Position: Expeditor (USG004)

Region/Location: Warri, Port Harcourt and Lagos

Duties:
Provide purchasing support for project team(s) including expediting and administration of equipment and material purchase and/or service orders. Provide regular status on equipment and materials purchase and/or service order expediting status
Maintaining the expediting records, correspondence and status report in eROOM. Ensure that all materials and equipment are purchased and materials are ordered and tracked according to project schedule and guidelines

Knowledge, Skills & experience
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Business with minimum 3 years purchasing experience in the oil and gas industry, OR Higher National Diploma (HND) with related 5 years of practical purchasing experience in the oil and gas industry
Demonstrated conceptual and practical understanding of procurement process Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite Applications (Access, Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook), Networking Applications, Windows / NT Operating Systems Adobe Professional Suite, Database usage / manipulation, AutoCAD, and web based applications
Proven ability to communicate and to apply interpersonal / organizational skills in order to obtain the cooperation of others as required.

General Qualification Skills and Experience:

Candidates with the following attributes are invited to apply for the vacancies:
A university degree or HND
Related work experience in the oil and Gas Industry, preferably in a project environment.
Sound understanding of Health and Safety requirements in the oil and Gas industry
PC literate i.e. Microsoft software applications
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Working knowledge of low-voltage electronics, electricity and knowledge of basic oil and gas principles.
