Role Summary/Purpose GE is seeking a trustworthy, highly organized administrative professional that thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Provide administrative support for Strategic Initiatives leader and his team

Essential Responsibilities The specific responsibilities would include but not limited to: · Meeting and event planning/coordination· Preparing accurate and creative charts using PowerPoint and Excel· Answering, screening and referring calls from all levels of callers· Organizing and managing daily schedules, coordinating meetings, and arranging conference calls· Maintaining distribution lists, call trees, and organization charts.· Professionally handle and analyze confidential information.· Providing coverage when other members of the team who are out or on vacation· Extensive Travel Arrangements (incl. Visas, flights, etc)· Supervise purchase of office administrative supplies.· Work with Regional Manager to resolve personnel, office issues.· Document procedures for administrative staff.· Raising requests for Pos and obtaining invoices for the same.· Manage Travel & Living Expenses for Reporting Manager (s)· Extensive calendar managementIn addition to the above, we will train the individual to help out on process documentation and mapping related to different projects

Qualifications/Requirements
· Bachelors Degree or prior administrative experience· At least 5 to 7 years of work experience · Excellent PC skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet· Outstanding organizational skills/ability to handle multiple priorities· High degree of professionalism in both oral and written communication· Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills· A true team player with the ability to take work direction from many people and prioritize effectively· Excellent typing skills (40-45+ wpm)· Prior travel arrangement experience· Ability to prepare business letters, proposals, summaries, and reports; using prescribed format and conforming to all rules of punctuation, grammar, diction, and style; using all parts of speech.

Desired Characteristics · Possess two years of formal general business education, preferred; · Five or more years' experience in clerical and/or administrative office functions. · Requires operation of: Personal computer and peripherals, electronic calculator, electronic typewriter, copiers, fax, telephone system. · Ability to communicate and liaise with multi-national / multi-cultural co-workers / suppliers / employees.· Flexible office hours required
