ASCA Bitumen Company Ltd, is a fully registered Nigerian company working in close collaboration with the international group ERES that specializes in the sale, sea- and land- transport, storage and distribution of all grades of bitumen IN BULK and GASOIL for the road construction industry. The group is established in Europe and Africa. The group has at its disposal a fleet of specialized sea tankers for flexible worldwide ocean transport. Spread throughout Africa, they offer bitumen storage capacity in heatable installations, designed to store bitumen at 140 Degrees Celsius. They also coordinate road transport to the end-user and offer assistance with the final processing on site with a range of applied logistical services.
ASCA Bitumen Company Ltd established in Nigeria, has strategic BITUMEN and GASOIL terminals connected by sea in Sapele and Port Harcourt
with a combined storage capacity of 65,000 metric tons. Furthermore there are seven storage facilities inland (Abuja, Bauchi, Kaduna, Sokoto, Kano, Maidaguri, Epe) to insure total coverage of the country. ASCA offers bitumen and gasoil in all the typical quality levels for road construction applications. In addition a series of special emulsion products are produced in four installed production plants in Nigeria (Epe, Sapele, Port Harcourt, Kano). ASCA Bitumen Company Ltd provides an all-inclusive solution in product, logistics and technical services for the complete journey between the refinery and processing at the work site. ASCA operates its own transport fleet of 300 trucks for bitumen and gasoil tank trucks.
Expat Oil Terminal Operator / Manager for NIGERIA
Your Mission :
• After an introduction and training period you will be responsible for managing the terminal operations and workforce (labourers, technical staff, etc).
• You will be responsible for receiving ships and barges at the terminal
• You will also be responsible for stock control in and out, loading gantries and document control etc.
• You have technical knowledge of boilers, pumps, valves, technical automation system, etc.
• You will be planning, directing and controlling staff on their daily tasks.
• You will advise management on improving efficiency of all terminal operations.
Your Profile :
• For this challenging expat-position we are looking for an experienced Oil Terminal Operator or Manager with several years experience and technical knowledge
• You have a good operational and technical background with excellent organizing skills
• You are experienced in black and white products
• You are experienced in ship or barge receiving (hulls), terminal handling, stock control, handling and controlling loading gantries.
• You have experience in technical maintenance of oil tank farm
• You are a good and reliable hands-on peoplemanager with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• You have a good PC work-experience and you are fluent in English.
