Role Summary/Purpose The Information Management (IM) Team Leader - Business Solutions demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning and contribute to the overall business strategy

Essential Responsibilities - Serve as direct supervisor of detailed IT implementation and support activities for business applications

- Act as subject matter expert for assigned area processes and supporting applications functionality and primary liaison to functional managers

- Responsible for project initiation and completion within functional area by directing activities of others as well as maintaining individual project responsibilities

- Accountable for delivery of goals and objectives assigned to the work group

- Responsible for management activities including performance management and distribution of work assignments

- Provide organizational leadership in the planning, evaluation, design, development, implementation, and operation of IT solutions

- Evaluate and/or produce business plans and operating practices, which improve quality, increase productivity and reduce costs

- Lead the preparation of long range systems plans and assure that they are in tune with business objectives and goals

- Work as a business partner with client leaders and users to evaluate/improve business processes and arrive at mutual, cost effective solutions

- Maintain effective communication with customer, client, supplier and system?s management. Responsible for employee selection development and evaluation

- Prepare salary plans, investment / expense budgets, and other administrative tasks

- Maintain current knowledge of new system management practices and information technologies that are applicable to business objectives and creatively promote their use

- Motivate team by creating a sense of purpose to meet the goals of the business through coaching and leading by example

- Assure conformance to system architecture, methods, standards and practices and promote their creation

- Initiate and coordinate outsourced supplier efforts as required. Prepare, present and review overall Information Technology plans, status reports and cost / benefit studies

Qualifications/Requirements - Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college

- At least 5 additional years of experience in business planning, resource allocation, or the project management of implementing information technologies

Desired Characteristics

- Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering is preferred

- Knowledge of current business function and information technologies

- Ability to attract, retain and develop key and diverse talent

- Ability to establish both strategic direction and execute on a daily basis

- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

- Strong oral and written communication skills
