Position: Head, Business Development (Ref: HDB)
The Role:
■Manage the company’s business development activities in all sectors of the Nigerian Oil & Gas industry
■Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients and partners, keeping abreast of market trends in order to clearly identify business opportunities, and convert such opportunities to the company’s advantage
■Establish and gain an in-depth technical and commercial understanding of general client needs and preferences in the products and services areas.
■Conduct and evaluate all activities as they relate to each product/service to ensure that marketing achievements are closely monitored, deviations identified and analyzed, and appropriate action taken.
■Articulate proposals and make presentations to clients covering the products and services of the company
■Follow established standards and practices for closing deals/opening new clients accounts to ensure that new clients translate into income
■Develop and deliver inventory reports, bids proposal and tender documents.
■Plan, develop and implement procurement policies and procedures, including those for equipment hardware software and service provision for clients
■Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions of contracts with clients and/or vendors
■Establish a register of qualified suppliers or vendors for all procurement activities
The Person:
■Candidate must be a Degree holder in Engineering with relevant professional qualifications (Possession of an MBA or relevant second degree will be an advantage; Candidate should have minimum of five (5) years post-graduation experience in a similar position
■Extensive Business Development and Procurement experience in the Oil & Gas Industry
■Team player, strong financial and analytical skills; sound management skills coupled with good commercial acumen and good networking ability
■Computer literacy and information technology proficiency
■Excellent reporting and presentation skills
■Must possess clean, current drivers licence
Position: Safety Officer (Ref: SO)
The Role:
■Develop, implement and monitor Health and Safety Policy, programmes and procedures
■Comply with current health and safety legislation and/or regulations with the objective of ensuring that all reasonable and proper measures are taken to protect the safety and health of staff and visitors
■Increase health and safety awareness at all levels within the organization
■Coordinate the training of personnel in areas of safety, including first aid, CPR accident prevention and investigation work place inspections and other matters related to implementing safety procedures
■Act as liaison with all related governmental bodies and regulating agencies
■Assist the staff in emergency preparedness
The Person:
■Applicant must be graduate of any related discipline with at least three (3) years experience in the Oil & Gas industry
■Membership of relevant professional body will be an advantage.
Position: QA/QC Inspectors (Ref: QA/QCI)
The Role:
■Quality Assurance and Quality Control of construction work
■Support and coordinate project and supervise quality related activities
■Implement the QA/QC management system at site and verify that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards
■Liaise with subcontractors and client inspectors as required
■Generate daily inspection project quality reports
The Person:
■Candidates must be a graduate of any related engineering course with at least five (5) years experience in the Oil & Gas sector
■Certified QA/QC Inspector (NACE level 2 and 3, CSWIPAWS)
