Marketing Manager at Construction Company

We are a major player in manufacturing materials for the construction/building industry in Nigeria. Due to the urgent need to expand our market, we are looking for a suitably qualified individual to head our Marketing team. The person must possess the following skills, knowledge, experience and qualifications:


Position: Marketing Manager

Qualifications:

■A good honour degree or its equivalent in Architecture, Civil Engineering or Project Management with flair for marketing and a minimum of 6 years relevant experience in the construction/building industry;

■Membership of the relevant professional body will be an added advantage;

■Ability to provide strategic direction for business promotion planning; n

■Proven success in sales ability and demonstrable full knowledge of the sales process;

■Confident negotiator and ability to ‘close the deal’;

■Strong client management skills and ability to identify new business opportunities;

■Capable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions;

■Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone and presentation;

■Excellent organizational and time management skills;

■A sound understanding of the construction and building industry.
