International consulting company in Petroleum Engineering seeks qualified candidates for the following position:
Instrument Commissioning Technician with a minimum 2-5 years international work experience (West Africa preferred as well as Nigerians in diaspora).
Main Responsibilities:
Witness for his discipline CONTRACTOR & VENDOR pre-commissioning and commissioning execution
activities on site.
• Sign off pre-commissioning and commissioning test, check sheets and verify ICAPS database progress.
• Witness and participate in all Operational Test Procedures (OTP) and VENDOR site activities.
Other Activities:
• Liaise with team of inter-discipline technicians and vendor personnel for commissioning matters.
• Verify that Project HSE objectives are strictly abided by, during execution of commissioning activities.
Required Compentencies and Background:
• 2 to 5 years experience in the maintenance field on oil and gas production installations.
• Oil and Gas Plant Construction, Upgrade, Commissioning or Start up experience PREFARABLE.
• A - Levels or High School Certificate or equivalent combination of RELEVANT experience and training.
• Ability to work with live plant (SIMOPS) and under tight schedule (during SHUTDOWN) conditions.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications - MS Windows, MS Word and MS Excel.
• Fluent in English - both written and spoken.
• Team oriented, good interpersonal and communication co-ordination skills within large size project.
