The Planner will be expected to support the operations in Nigeria by monitoring and scheduling the flow of materials, components, assemblies or inventory through assigned projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning the purchasing of materials to meet project schedule,
- Maintaining service and production orders,
- Avoiding creation of excess inventory and making recommendations for substitution,
- Providing regular stock status and identifying potential shortages,
- Developing a safety stock program for highly utilized items,
Status: Staff
Required Skills/Experience: With a University degree in Procurement, Engineering or Business Administration, you have a minimum of 3-years experience in materials planning, scheduling and/or purchasing systems in the Oil & Gas industry.
You are able to adapt quickly and take initiatives on your own.
You are fluent in English and have a previous exposure to the Delta region.
