MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY

Job Purpose

To deliver full range of human resource services to the business unit. That is consultation and advice on areas such as recruitment, selection, and appointment, interpretation of awards and enterprise bargaining
agreements, issues relating to the maintenance of conditions of employment, salary and benefits administration, employee relations issues, learning and development activities, and job design and evaluation.

Relationship

The Human Resources Advisor is a member of the Hobark International Limited organization.
The Human Resources Advisor reports to the General Manager, who is responsible for the performance appraisal and development plan of the Human Resources Assistant.
The Human Resources Advisor maintains a good relationship with the other employees at the base, clients and partners.

Duties
Responsibilities will include:
Maintain custody of Company personnel database by ensuring that the HR Information System data is updated and maintained accurately.
Manage relationship with local government labour bodies on personnel matters.
Responsible for managing the performance and potential of the business unit personnel through, recruitment, selection strategies and on boarding, job description, job evaluation and career planning, performance appraisals, career orientation review and development and identification of talents for succession planning.
Responsible for company training plan and implementation through technical training programs to develop the different business unit technical expertise
Responsible for Employee Information on new policies to improve awareness and support the implementation of policies and procedures by the different business unit
Responsible for recruitment process achievement of targets and objectives.
Responsible for negotiating terms and conditions of employment with staff.
· Responsible for employee issues relating to remuneration and benefits, leave plan and implementation, company loan, team building.
Responsible for Company compliance with labour laws within countries regulations and provides advice and assistance to management and staff on human resources policies, procedures, legislation, and enterprise agreements.
Responsible for HR table of activities and deadlines for delivery yearly.
Providing advice and playing a major role in work area reviews and change processes.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices in the business unit.
Consulting on issues related to workplace relations and performance management.
Write and present information briefings over a wide range of HR related topics.
· Any other duties as required by the business.
· Report and support the Human Resource Manager and the General Manager on all human resource issues and business development for the company.

Qualifications
A degree in human resources or a relevant area, with up to four years subsequent relevant experience.
Skills and Interests
Knowledge of relevant HR policies and procedures and best practice on recruitment and selection
Experience in interpreting, advising and implementing such agreements and procedures.
Ability to use of a HR information system including, accessing, inputting, and compiling data.
The verbal communication skills to communicate with a diverse client group,
The written communication skills to produce succinct correspondence and reports.
The ability to research, analyse and reason logically and effectively within tight and conflicting timeframes.
Experience in leading and working effectively in teams.
Experience supervising staff and assuming responsibility for workload allocation, identifying development needs and performance planning and feedback.
A commitment to providing customer service.
Ability to write and present information.
Experience in providing advice and support to senior managers on strategic matters.
Experience in leading projects and implementing new initiatives.
