Position: Director, Information Communication and Technology Division

(Library Information, Communication and Technology Department (LICTD)

Salary: CONTISS15 2,639,018.40 – 3,459,425.20

Job Description

■Shall head the department and its day-to-day administration;

■Ensuring that all the facets of the IT centre is functioning properly;

■Coordinates the activities of the ICT;

■Giving professional advice and supervising all the computerization of the Centre;

■Developing and improving on current software’s in use, in conjunction with the faculty officers.

■Any other duties that may be assigned by the Management

Person Specification

■First degree 2nd Class Lower in Library and Information System, Computer Systems, Library, Archival and Information Studies, Information Science or any other computer related discipline plus relevant professional qualifications such as CISA/CISCO etc.

■Must have a minimum of 20 years cognate experience.

Skills

■Ability to analyze the nature, and able to run the information/ system;

■Must have analytical skills;

■Must be versed in all the packages in use and to be used to aid Centre’s work;

■Must be fluent in written and spoken English

Position: Asst, Director, ICT Division: (Library Information, Communication and Technology Department (LICTD)

Salary: CONTISS 14 2,185,785.30 – 2,902,439.10

■Taking charge of the Division

■Initiating action on ICT development and planning of the division and its policies. Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Director and Centre

Person Specification
■First degree 2nd Class Lower in Library and Information System, Computer Systems, Library, Archival and Information Studies, Information Science or any other computer related discipline plus relevant professional qualifications such as CISA/CISCO etc.

■Must have a minimum of 14 years of cognate experience is an added advantage.

■Must have analytical skills;

■Must be fluent in written and spoken English
