Job Description
■Works hand-in-hand with the Assistant Chief System Analyst;
■Install all new hardware, systems, and software for networks
■Install, configure, maintain network services, equipment and devices
■Makes sure the Centre’s ICT is functioning properly;
■Supports administration of servers and server clusters
■Manages all supports network and computing infrastructure
■Also a training faculty member;
■Any other duty that may be assigned by supervisor.
Person Specification
■B. Sc./HND (Computer Science or B.Sc. B. Technology) (Electrical Electronic Engineering, 2nd Class Lower or any other computer related discipline I.e. System Windows, UNIX, Linux, Novell, Networking (Switches, Routers, Hubs, Servers, Cables etc) with 7 years cognate experience.
■Must be CISCO certified, MCSE with 7 years cognate experience is an added advantage.
Skills:
■Ability to troubleshoot and configure a router and run a network
■Must be a team player
■Must have analytical skills
■Must be fluent in written and spoken English
