Position: Director, Programs

Location: Abuja

Specific/Job Responsibilities

■Develop fundable proposals and provide technical assistance on proposal and project development

■Lead the implementation of all HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, Malaria, Sexual and Reproductive Health related programmes/projects of the organization.

■Lead the production of programmatic and M&E reports and ensure timely submission of complete and effective documentations and reports to the Executives, donors and other stakeholders.

■Lead and maintain contact with government agencies, donors, partners and other stakeholders on behalf of the organization.

■Plan, organize, conduct and evaluate trainings and participate in the review and development of training materials

■Provide technical assistance in project implementation and assign responsibilities to staff, taking into cognizance skills and ability of such staff to perform up to expectation

■Coordinate manpower and other organizational development activities

■Perform advocacy responsibilities, and coordinate fund raising activities in the organization

■Support the Executives in planning and implementing specific and general organizational development and promotional activities e.g. Strategic Plan, disseminating organizational information etc.

Qualifications:

■An MBBS, with additional qualifications such as MPH and/or PhD in any of the medical fields. Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of ten years experience with national or international or Government agencies in the field of HIV/AIDS/TB /Malaria/SRH. The candidate should have strong interpersonal communication skills, excellent written and spoken English Language and proficiency in the use of Computer application.

Position: Coordinator, Monitoring and Evaluation

Location: Abuja

Specific Responsibilities:

■Under the supervision of the Director of Programs and Director, Monitoring and Evaluation respectively, assist in the design, implementation and supervision of monitoring and evaluation activities for HIV /Malaria/TB control activities at the LGA and State levels with primary focus on the community-based activities

■Coordinate and provide technical assistance for the implementation of M&E activities for the HIV/Malaria/TB projects at the LGA and State levels and strengthen community involvement and participation in Malaria/TB activities.

■Work directly with the implementing partners (community-based organizations), LGA PHC Coordinators, LGA, TB Supervisors, to facilitate the implementation of high quality M&E system for HIV/Malaria/TB care activities,

■Work closely with other staff to ensure synergy relevant to the implementation and documentation of the HIV/Malaria/TB care activities

■Develop, review and ensure correct implementation of the Malaria/TB M&E plan as a subset of national M&E plan.

■Ensure that M&E strategies are implemented according to plan.

■Develop and/or adapt, monitor the use of and inform necessary modification to M&E tools,

■Support timely and accurate data flow: and Prepares and review reports from sub-recipients, program staff, etc.

Qualification:

■An MBBS with additional qualifications such as MPH and/or MD or PhD in Social Science or Medical Statistics Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of 10 years experience, including 5 years experience in monitoring and evaluation in an NGO environment.

■A sound knowledge of statistics, computer literacy and experience working with local partners, including local NGOs and CBOs, and knowledge of the local context are essential.
